FU-Tone PMS - Pickup Mounting System
The Pickup Mounting System is a solid brass platform for your pickup that mounts directly into the pickup cavity. Adding this tone material between the pickup and body allows for greater transfer of resonance from the body, through the brass, to the pickup. This increased resonance will improve the warmth and sustain of your guitar.
Guitar pickups don't just "listen" to the strings above, they also feed off the vibrations around them. Poorly mounted pickups can actually cancel some frequencies.
