Schaller update their M6 Locking Machine Head

There is something different about the Schaller M6 Locking Tuner. Can you spot what’s changed?

It’s the thumb wheel, of course.

Gone is the original, ‘industrial’ style wheel. It’s replaced with a much more ‘stylish’ version.

Apart from that, the machine head keeps to the original spec.

So, what do you think of the updated locking tuner?

UPDATE: As of today (04/04/20), the update isn’t being shown on any of Schaller’s product listings. And all of my current stock, as far as I’m aware, have the original thumb wheel.

UPDATE: (02/07/20) The stock coming in from Stentor now have the new thumb-wheel shape AND post. Still not shown on Schaller’s website.
