NEW Smoky Finish For Grainger's Ferrule Blocks

With the latest batch of ferrule blocks from Grainger Guitar Parts comes a new finish – SMOKED NICKEL

This rather tasty looking finish is a great addition to the current choice of colours and will make a fantastic option for many builders.

The Smoked Nickel is actually what the original Black Nickel finish should look like; Grainger have been able to produce the correct finish due to changes in their plating process. Even with these improvements, thankfully this new option will not be an expensive one (as we’ve seen with their Gold finish) and will remain around the ferrule block’s current price point – for now, at least.

Sadly, this does mean we will see the popular matte black/black nickel finish be discontinued. There is a small possibility that we’ll see it return in the near future, but we’ll have to wait and see.

What do you think of the new finish?
