Features and Specifications

  • Body Wood:  Alder
  • Bridge Type:  Pre-drilled for vintage-style 4-screw string-thru Telecaster bridges
  • Finish Type:  Polyurethane   
  • Pickup Configuration: 
    • Bridge: Tele bridge pickup
    • Neck: Humbucker (can accommodate most pickups)
  • Electronics Route:  Standard Telecaster
    • blade-type switch
    • 2 pots (volume and tone) 
    • output jack (side mounted)
  • String Ferrule Diameter:  5/16" (7.9mm)
  • Built for 25-1/2" (648mm) scale length necks
  • Heel Pocket:  2-3/16" (55.5mm) (squared for Telecaster style necks)
  • Shielding paint on pickup and control cavities to reduce RF interference/hum
  • Compatible Pickguards: Traditional or Humbucker

Patterned after the Fender® Player Series Telecaster®, our PRiMO replacement Tele® bodies offer fans of this timeless design a high-performance chassis on which to build their dream guitar.  True to the originals, these bodies feature a universal neck pickup route and come pre-drilled with counter-sunk mounting holes for vintage-style Telecaster bridges.  Made of Alder, our PRiMO bodies come with pre-shielded cavities and are available in several non-standard gloss finishes, plus several new paisley foil patterns from Fender’s original supplier!  If you’ve dreamed of creating your own take on Fender’s classic design, our PRiMO replacement bodies are the perfect place to start!
