Removing the Hipshot Tone-A-Matic's Intonation Screws

The Hipshot Tone-A-Matic’s intonation screws – DO NOT remove them! The nut, at the opposite end of the intonation screw, has a coating of Thread Lock glue applied to it. Therefore any attempt to remove the intonation screw will most likely cause damage to the nut and screw.

This does mean that any adjustments to the saddle’s height and string slots will all need to be done in situ. The Hipshot Tone-A-Matic bridges have slotted and un-slotted saddle options available depending on your requirements.
