Sound Technology (Apogee’s UK distributor) have announced that the HypeMiC is now available to purchase in the UK. The HypeMiC is Apogee’s latest release – They had just recently revealed the product at NAMM 2019. It’s a USB microphone that improves upon Apogee’s other model, the MiC. The most interesting and impressive feature of these USB microphones is the studio-quality compression which offers three different compression settings depending on what it is you are recording.

Retailing at £349, it certainly isn’t cheap, making this a premium product. Going on my experience with the MiC and Jam, these Apogee products are fantastic and it sounds as though the HypeMiC will be well worth the price tag.
